Planetair is proud to partner with Aventure Écotourisme Québec (AEQ) to offset the greenhouse gas emissions generated by their activities and events. This new collaboration reflects a shared commitment to making adventure tourism and ecotourism a driving force for positive climate action.
For years, Aventure Écotourisme Québec has been a leader in sustainable tourism across the province. Through its Quality-Safety certification program and Ecotourism attestation, the association supports businesses that adopt best practices — from protecting biodiversity and reducing waste to responsible resource management, customer education, and community engagement. Long before this partnership, AEQ was already taking concrete steps to reduce its environmental impact — a commitment also reflected by the 1% for the Planet Outdoor Fund, an initiative of AEQ that Planetair is also proud to be part of.
By integrating carbon offsetting into its environmental approach, AEQ is further strengthening its leadership and sending a clear message: adventure, nature, and climate responsibility can go hand in hand.
