As a proud partner of Trees for Life, Planetair is pleased to highlight the remarkable impact of this Canadian organization that’s transforming our living environments — one tree at a time.
Over 40,000 Trees Planted in 2024
In 2024, Trees for Life reached an important milestone by planting more than 40,000 trees in urban areas across the country. Since its founding, the organization has helped capture over 30,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, while intercepting billions of litres of rainwater and improving air quality for millions of people. Each tree planted is a concrete action for the climate, public health, and collective well-being.
Initiatives that Honour People and Build Stronger Communities
Trees for Life doesn’t just plant trees — it plants symbols of hope and recognition. From veterans and healthcare workers to everyday heroes, their initiatives — including Hero Forests and tribute trees — bring together citizens, volunteers, municipalities, and partners around a shared vision: building greener, more resilient, and more caring communities.
The goal for 2025 is ambitious: 150,000 trees, nearly four times the number planted in 2024.
